Gossamer Gear / PROBAR Giveaway Winner!

Wow! This giveaway had more entires than any other previous giveaway that I have run on my blog, I guess not everyone got exactly what they wanted from Santa this Christmas. Just a few quick stats: 1,441 entries, 774 comments, 94 re-tweets – you guys are awesome.

As you can see from the graphic above, the correct answer of how many PROBARs can be stuffed into the pockets of a Gossamer Gear Kumo backpack is 42! Yeah, less than I thought too, but still a heck of a lot of delicious bars.

I used Random.org to pick a winner out of all of he entries that correctly guessed 42 as the number and the winner of all 42 PROBARs and a brand new Gossamer Gear Kumo backpack is…

Congratulations to Erik Walker for winning the giveaway and scoring some amazing gear, I know he’ll be very happy. I’d like to give a huge thanks to everyone that left a comment (or several), shared this post, retweeted, followed, or liked my blog or our sponsors. The response was mind-blowing and I thank you for putting life back into the simple gear giveaway contest.

If you didn’t win this time, please don’t get discouraged. I have more great giveaways lined up for the start of 2013 that you won’t want to miss out on – trust me! I’ll also continue to thin out my own gear closet by giving some of my lightly used gear away to people that will put it to good use, so even more ways to score some great stuff.

Finally I’d like to thank PROBAR and Gossamer Gear for coming up with this fiendishly clever giveaway and providing me with their products to run the giveaway for them. My naughty PROBAR loving dog is your new bigest fan :)

      Initially I thought the Kumo wouldn’t hold that many, like twenty or so, but that front mesh is surprisingly stretchy. Then having read all of your comments with high numbers it made me feel as though 42 was far less than you would think. Apologies if that was confusing in any way – I meant no trickery!

    I should have known it was 42, it’s “the Answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything.” ( ;
